The life!

So yesterday and today we kinda just hungout around town, eating amazing food and having fun. We walked downtown and across an old school suspension bridge. Terrifying to walk across but cool standing still in the middle.  One completely amazingly, insanely exciting, crazy thing was I went on a helicopter ride. Oh yeah...that's right.  It was one of the craziest things I have done and was terrifying.  I was surprised at how uncomfortable I was.  Usually I get a kick out of stuff like this, which, don't get me wrong it was so exhilarating and amazing just....more unnerving then expected. That being said everyone HAS to try it sometime.  The feeling of being in the air is like nothing I have ever experienced before.  You really get a bigger picture of how glorious the earth truly is and how small we are in respect.  Kauai is a beautiful place that is still preserved and natural so everything I saw was spectacular and mind blowing. I know it's a crazy amount of pictures (in the post below) but I just can't express in words what it was like.  The pictures don't do it justice either but it's the best I can do.  If you're not satisfied just buy a ticket, come over and try it out.  There is a free couch calling your name. Oh and the rainbow picture was taken standing on the front porch and it was a full rainbow.  Seriously...the life Chase and Meliss live is insane.

Hel-icopter-Yeah!!!!!!!!!

Taking off and looking down at the airport

So I couldn't wear flip-flops in case they flew out.  But seriously that's where my foot is and it felt like I would fall out.  But don't worry I had a seat belt, granted it looked like a car seat belt but obviously it did its job.

Chase doin his thang

So this awesome arch is seen in the new Pirates trailer. You can only get to it by air or boat.

One and only time we could stick our hands out the door well, there are not any doors so just stick it...out.

This is the side of the old volcano and tallest mountain.

And this is us looking at the entrance.  Yeah we flew around this corner and inside the couldron. Crazy. It was my favorite part, it got really dark and the clouds made a sweet ceiling.

Inside looking out.

Jurassic Park falls.

Hike time

We went up to the Alakai swamp and did a small little hike that followed the Na Pali coastline.  It was amazing and so fun because I felt like I was in a jungle going nuts. It felt crazy to be walking alont the ridge of a mountain and viewing the ocean and then walking on planks because it gets boggy. Meliss and Max hungout at the car while me and Chase took in the view.

We decided that everything is mind blowing because you see stuff like this in movies or pictures and you kinda think it has to be fake. Or that it is associated with something that is not the real thing so it is hard to grasp that you are walking through such georgous land.  It's crazy.

So I may have taken this picture, stepped back and fallen, or just really wanted to check out the flowers growing below me. Either or....
This is the swamp.  It is HA-UGE!! and beautifull
